I'm sure that most of the folks reading this already know me, but just in case you've stumbled on this blog here is a little about me. My name is Abbi and I grew up in a small city in TN. When I was in junior high we moved to NC for a brief period of time. While in NC my mom got a job working for the airlines. And that my friends began my love affair with traveling and wanting to see the world.
As a result of mom working for the airlines, I had the opportunity to travel to places like Hawaii, France, and England while I was young.. After college the travel bug bit me even harder and I have been able to travel to places like Italy, England (again), South America, Central America, and various places in the US. Let's not forget the wonderful opportunities as well to sail around the Greek Isles and the British Virgin Islands.
I had someone tell me once that I seem to always have stories from my travels and that I should start a blog. So...here it is. Of course this is also the same person who couldn't understand my need to travel around the world constantly looking for a bathroom in a strange place. Luckily that is NOT what I spend most of my time doing.
While I am sure the majority of this blog will be about the places I visit there will be other posts about my family and well...just the adventures of life. After all...."Life's an Adventure". :-)
